Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PhotoTranslate (phototranslate.ai), an AI service for translating images while preserving the original layout, fonts, colors, and surrounding artwork. By accessing or using PhotoTranslate, you agree to these Terms.

Using PhotoTranslate

PhotoTranslate lets you upload images, select source and target languages, and generate translated images for use cases such as manga, menus, product photos, screenshots, and documents. You are responsible for the images you upload and for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to translate or use them.

Accounts and credits

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Credits, free allowances, subscriptions, and lifetime plans are described on the pricing page and may be limited by monthly refresh rules, expiration rules, or fair-use protections.

User content

You keep ownership of images, text, and other content you upload. You grant PhotoTranslate a limited license to host, process, translate, render, store, and display that content only as needed to provide the service, troubleshoot errors, enforce these Terms, and comply with the law. Uploaded images and generated translations are deleted from our servers within a documented retention window unless you explicitly save them to your library.

Translation results

AI translation, OCR, font matching, and layout reconstruction may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing translated images before using them in commercial, legal, medical, safety-critical, or public-facing contexts.

Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have permission to process.
• Use PhotoTranslate to infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights.
• Upload illegal, abusive, deceptive, malware-related, or exploitative material.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, payment requirements, security controls, or rate limits.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt PhotoTranslate or its providers.

Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Paid subscriptions, credit packages, and lifetime purchases are processed by Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, including the 7-day money-back window for eligible Pro and Lifetime purchases. Contact support@phototranslate.ai with billing questions.

Intellectual property

PhotoTranslate, our website, product experience, branding, and original software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our brand or software beyond the right to use the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for PhotoTranslate or other users, abuse credits or payments, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using PhotoTranslate at any time.

Limitation of liability

PhotoTranslate is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from translation accuracy, upload failures, downtime, or your use of translated content.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page, and continued use of PhotoTranslate means you accept the updated Terms.
